The French Side of Switzerland!

Continuing our Switzerland trip. Spencer and I were on our own after staying with Marion for a day. We hopped onour first train with help on our wayto Bern! Theonlyproblem we had was finding our hostel. I really had no clue what to do or expect!Eventually we found our hostel and it was dorm like with bunk beds and lockers. Atleast breakfast was included! We explored Bern for a day, seeing the bears, Albert Einstein's house, and the beautiful river that runs through the town.

We left Bern and continued our journey to french side of Switzerland. After figuring out the train system (which was quite complicated!) we traveled to Lake Geneva. We visited the Lausanne, Vevey, and Montreux. In Vevey we stayed in this Hotel that was just a little more than a hostel. What we didn't know is that it was run by a crazy French lady! Sh
e kind of told me off a few times with looks and french words! We were exhausted at the end of everyday. I think we managedto walk an average ofabout 5 miles a day or so. Talk about a tight butt and legs! I wasn't to worried about indulging in the delicious food, but heck.. the pizza was our top choice! It was delicious thin crust with cheese and pepperoni. Iliked it more thanthe states!

In Montreux we took a boat to the Chateu De Chillion. It was amazing wondering through all 60 rooms from the early centuries! We had fun taking pictures and exploring history. By the time we were done, we were soooo exhausted. It gets intense exploring castles!
One of my favorite places!! It was so gorgeous.
Yep I am in a treasure chest!! After our adventures we get a good night sleep and head buck up to St. Gallen where we will meet the extended Gemperle family!
